Repairing Errors in

Computer-Assisted Language Learning

Welcome to the home page of the RECALL project. The objective of the project is to enhance the usability of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) software by implementing intelligent reactions in such a way that the system

Learning habits, learning strategies and types of mistakes are analysed. In this way, weaknesses in the user's abilities can be pointed out and additional training material can be offered. This information can be passed on directly to the tutor, in order to provide better control of the pupil's progress and better adaptation of training methods.

The project, will, in its first 15-months phase, study mainly users' learning habits and the way users handle existing CALL systems.
