Software Support and Reporting Faults
If you have noticed a fault with a piece of software on an iMac workstation, have a network related query or require technical assistance with a piece of software then you should contact the Technical Services Engineers in room 16E30 for help.
Hardware Support and Reporting Faults
If you have noticed a fault with a piece of hardware on an iMac workstation or loan equipment or require technical assistance with a piece of hardware then you should contact Stephen Lyttle and/or Jim Bailie in 16C32 for help.
Please note that as you use the iMac suite you are in the best position to notice hardware and software problems and to report them. Unreported problems cannot be fixed so the quicker you report a fault the quicker it will be fixed.
To help keep faults to a minimum and for your safety and the benefit of other students you should always take care when using equipment and software and follow the rules for using the iMac suite:
- No Eating in the Lab
- No Drinking in the Lab
- Put litter in the bins provided
- Keep Noise Down
- Use Headphones for Audio
- Leave when Staff tell you to Leave
