SUPERCALCULATORS THROUGH THE CURRICULUM

- A Resource for Teachers

This book contains resource material for mathematics teachers to use with graphics calculators. The material is designed for use at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A-level and comprises:

• case studies describing how a particular topic was taught,
• pupil guides for use at KS3, KS4 and A-level,
• programs for use in teaching,
• extensive pupil worksheets which introduce the pupil to a mathematical topic via the graphics calculator.

The calculator used in the Project was the Texas Instruments TI-82 and most of the material is for use with this calculator. Many of the worksheets have also been developed for use with the Casio fx 7700GH. The material was written and tested by the teachers involved with the project.
